Love & Unity Festival is built on the belief that culture can be a force for good. At its core, the festival exists to bring people together through music, storytelling, and shared responsibility placing children, the planet, and future generations first.
Our community includes artists, families, youth, volunteers, partners, and neighbors who believe
in connection, respect, and meaningful action.
The Love & Unity Festival is a locally hosted event taking place at Unity Ranch in Valley Springs. It is being planned as music festival, a gathering with an emphasis on positive community and nation wide benefit.
For Calaveras County, the festival brings visitors who support local businesses throughout the weekend. The event also creates paid work opportunities and short-term jobs, while opening the door to longer-term relationships with local vendors, workers, and service providers.
Beyond the event itself, Love & Unity connects to ongoing efforts that support people at different stages of life. Funds raised help strengthen programs for youth, young adults, veterans, elders, and families. This work is not done alone. The festival is intended to collaborate and network with existing community organizations that are already doing similar work.
Our Mission
Love & Unity Festival exists to unite artists and communities through music and storytelling while raising funds to support children in need, protect the planet, and invest in future generations. Through live gatherings and global broadcast,
we aim to inspire awareness, compassion, and real-world solutions that extend beyond the festival itself.
The People’s Foundation
The People’s Foundation is the heart of the Love and Unity Festival’s mission a transparent, community-driven approach to giving that keeps every supporter informed, engaged, and connected to the impact they help create.
This initiative was built on a simple belief: the people who give should always be able to see where their contributions go, how they are used, and who they are helping.
We view our supporters not just as donors, but as partners in a shared mission to uplift communities and invest in the future.
How It Works
Each year, the Love and Unity Festival will raise funds through both live attendance and global viewership. These funds are then distributed in a structured and transparent way:
1. Established Foundation Support
A portion of the funds will be donated to a select group of five well-known, trusted foundations. These organizations will be visible partners during the festival and represent proven impact across key areas of need.
2. Sustaining the Mission
A percentage of the funds will be allocated to operational costs and future festival planning. This ensures that the Love and Unity Festival continues to grow, evolve, and create long-term impact year after year.
3. The People’s Giving Initiative
The remaining funds will be placed directly into the hands of the community through the People’s Foundation.
We will invite you the public to nominate nonprofits in your own community that are doing meaningful, on-the-ground work. These may include organizations supporting:
Veterans
Women and children in crisis
The unhoused community
Disability services
Addiction recovery programs
Food access and essential resources
And many more
Community Selection & Impact
All nominated organizations will go through a careful vetting process to ensure integrity,
legitimacy, and real community impact.
Selected nonprofits will then be:
Personally notified of their selection
Recognized as official recipients of support
Provided with funding to continue and expand their work
We will also work directly with these organizations to document their impact through photos, videos, and real stories — showing exactly how the contributions are being used.
